Pabbly Connect: our hands-on take after an AgenticAI workflow test
Pabbly's AgenticAI successfully generated and tested a Gmail PDF → Google Drive workflow from a plain-English request. It was impressive, but not friction-free.
What we tested
AgenticAI created two runtime steps: fetch unread Gmail messages with PDF attachments, then save the PDFs to Google Drive using the original filename. A manual test found 10 matching unread emails and saved 10 PDFs successfully.
What stood out
- Strong AI construction: the AI generated the workflow rather than merely suggesting steps.
- Successful real-data test: both generated steps passed.
- Important side effect: the generated Gmail step marked matching emails as read.
- Scheduling still required: the successful test did not create a recurring schedule automatically.
