Pabbly Pricing & Free Plan: Connect vs AgenticAI Explained
The confusing part is that Pabbly Connect and Pabbly AgenticAI use different free-plan limits. Pabbly Connect currently advertises 100 tasks/month on Free. Pabbly AgenticAI currently advertises 5 workflows and 100 Units on Free, and its scheduler is not available on that Free AgenticAI plan.
| Pabbly Connect Free | Pabbly AgenticAI Free | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $0/month | $0/month |
| Main allowance | 100 tasks/month | 100 Units |
| Workflow limit | Pabbly's pricing page currently describes Free as limited to up to 2 two-step workflows | 5 workflows |
| Scheduler | Connect pricing lists delaying & scheduling among features | Not available on Free |
| Measurement | External-app actions can count as tasks; triggers/internal steps may be free | 1 Unit = 30 seconds of workflow execution time |
Why this matters for the Gmail PDF workflow we tested
We built our workflow through Pabbly AgenticAI. The AI generated a Gmail step and a Google Drive step and our manual test saved 10 PDFs successfully. After the test, the interface offered to configure a schedule.
However, Pabbly's current AgenticAI pricing page explicitly says schedulers are unavailable on the Free AgenticAI plan. So a successful manual test does not automatically mean you can leave that AgenticAI workflow running on a free recurring schedule.
What counts as a Pabbly Connect task?
Pabbly says an action performed on an external app is considered a task, while triggers and many internal steps such as filters, routers, formatters, schedules and iterators do not consume the paid task count. This can make its task allowance behave differently from a platform that bills each module execution.
Do not compare “100 tasks” with “1,000 Make credits” as if they were identical
They are different billing models. Make currently says most standard module actions consume one credit, while Pabbly Connect excludes various trigger/internal steps from its task count. Estimate your own workflow rather than comparing only the headline number.
Our recommendation before paying
Use the free access to build and manually test the exact workflow first. Confirm what is counted, whether scheduling is available in the product path you are using, and whether the generated behavior is acceptable. Our own Pabbly test is a good example: it worked, but it also marked the matching Gmail messages as read.
