n8n prices its hosted plans differently from automation tools that charge for every task or operation. The core billing unit is a workflow execution: one full run of a workflow counts as one execution, even when the workflow contains many steps.
n8n Cloud starts at €20 per month billed annually for 2,500 workflow executions. A 14-day Cloud trial is available without a credit card. The Community Edition is a separate self-hosted option; it requires you to operate the infrastructure yourself.

What counts as an execution?
An execution is one complete workflow run. A workflow can contain several nodes and still count as a single execution when it runs once.
For example, our tested Gmail workflow included a Gmail trigger, PDF attachment download, filename formatting, and a Google Drive upload. One complete run of that workflow is one execution.
